Portswood House is a popular student accommodation in Southampton, offering stylish studios. Located on Portswood Road, Southampton, England SO17 2BF, the accommodation is a 10-minute walk from the University of Southampton and a 20-minute bus ride from Southampton Solent University. Portswood House Southampton has a full range of facilities, including a gym, laundry, cinema, a large communal dining area, a restaurant complex, and even an automatic mahjong machine. Portswood House student accommodation is close to many shopping centres and restaurants, Sainsbury's is a minute's walk away, and a bus stop is right outside your door, making it easy to get around.

Portswood House Southampton features 435 fully furnished bedrooms, with a total of 5 studio room types: Lite Studio, Classic Studio, Accessible Room, Premium Studio, and Deluxe Studio. The accommodation is well-equipped with full kitchen facilities, a refrigerator, wet and dry bathrooms, and in-room furnishings such as tables, chairs, wardrobes, mirrors, beds, and mattresses.

Can I bring my pet with me?

As much as we love pets, unfortunately, they’re not allowed in our accommodation unless they are registered service animals – sorry!

When can I move in?

About two months before your move-in date (selected when booking), you’ll be able to book a move-in slot that works for you. If you need any support for accessibility or travel reasons, be sure to let us know at this stage. If you need an early check-in, we may be able to help too, just reach out to your Residence Team and they’ll be happy to let you know availability and pricing.
