A. Burnaby Campus Students

Preferred: UniverCity or Lougheed/Burquitlam.

Reasons: UniverCity allows for an extra 10 minutes of sleep; Lougheed/Burquitlam offers convenience (groceries, restaurants) and a very short commute (approximately 15 minutes on the 143 bus).

B. "Burnaby + Surrey" Dual-Campus Students

Preferred: Lougheed Town Centre or Burquitlam.

Reasons: This is a hub connecting the two campuses.

To Burnaby Campus: Take the 143/145 bus directly from downstairs.

To Surrey Campus: Take the SkyTrain (Expo Line/Millennium Line) from downstairs, only 4-5 stops, completely avoiding traffic.

Remember not to live in Brentwood, as it will be much further to Surrey.

C. Burnaby + Vancouver DT

Preferred: Brentwood or Hastings-Sunrise.

Reasons: Upper-level courses for these programs are often held Downtown (Harbour Centre/Goldcorp Center).

Brentwood: Take the Millennium Line SkyTrain to VCC and transfer, or take a bus to Downtown; take the 130 bus to the main campus.

Hastings: Live near Hastings Street, and take the R5 RapidBus. Go left to attend classes Downtown, and go right to attend classes on Burnaby Mountain – a perfect balance, and rent is cheaper than Brentwood.
